Ask God’s favour to speak for them, mercy to speak for them. In Jesus Christ’s name.”

On Sunday 8th February 2009, Prophet T.B. Joshua gave a prophetic revelation about what he

had been shown regarding an event that was to occur in an Asian nation. He said:

“The Asia country, very close to the border. I’m given the name of the country but let me put it – Asia country. I’m seeing a train which carries a lot of people, go astray – that is, run out of the rail. So, please, open your lips – ask for their protection. Ask God’s favour to speak for them, mercy to speak for them. In Jesus Christ’s name.” In exact confirmation of the prophet’s words, on Friday the 13th February, 2009, a train derailed in Eastern India killing at least 15 passengers and injuring 40 more.

The train, going from Howrah in West Bengal state to Chennai in Tamil Nadu in the south of the country, jumped the tracks midway, according to J.P. Mishra, a spokesperson for India's East Coast Railway. It was reported that as many as 14 carriages of the super fast express train Coromandel Express, came off the track.

Joshua had said, the derailment happened in the Asian nation of India, as the Coromandel Express was travelling along the east coast of India from Kolkata to Chennai, very close to the country’s border.

“I’m seeing a train which carries a lot of people, go astray – that is, run out of the rail.” In further confirmation, the train was heavily laden with passengers – 1500 in total when 14 coaches came off the rails, just as the prophet had specified.

“So, please, open your lips – ask for their protection. Ask God’s favour to speak for them, mercy to speak for them. In Jesus Christ’s name.”
We thank God for the prophetic message and the instruction in righteousness to pray. If not for the prayer of God’s people, this incident would have been a lot worse. We thank God for His mercy and favour, for His mercy and favour is enough for us.
