On Sunday, 29th March 2009, a prophetic message was revealed through Prophet T.B. Joshua about a strike in the nation, Pakistan. He said:
“In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The people that causing the trouble in Asian country. I’m seeing in the vision that there will be strike – an attack. Please pray for this nation. So, I’m seeing a move to Pakistan. So, please open your lips and pray for that region, for God’s protection. Prayer. God’s protection, God’s intervention. Prayer.”

In direct affirmation of the prophetic message, on Monday, 30th March 2009, the day after the message was given, a strike, an attack on a police academy was carried out in the nation of Pakistan.

At least 78 people were wounded in the attack in Lahore, Pakistan, authorities said and reports state that as many as 15 people lost their lives. In Monday's incident, up to 12 attackers, some dressed as police officers, hurled grenades into the elite police academy, then stormed the compound and opened fire while officers were taking part in their morning drill. About 800 officers train at the facility but authorities could not say exactly how many were inside at the time.

"So, I’m seeing a move to Pakistan."
In what was analysed to be a tactical move on behalf of the militants to demoralize the government by humiliating the security forces, the attack lasted several hours with the militants detonating explosives and firing on police and reporters every few minutes.

"The people that causing the trouble in Asian country. I’m seeing in the vision that there will be strike – an attack."
At a news conference Monday night, Malik named the leader of the Pakistani Taliban and his followers as the prime suspects in organizing the attack. They are also accused of plotting the assassination of former PM Benazir Bhutto.

After several hours of stand-off, paramilitary forces and the army were eventually able to apprehend the militants. However, several chose to blow themselves up in order to avoid capture.

We at Emmanuel TV and The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations pray for the nation of Pakistan, its citizens, its leaders and its law enforcement officers – that God’s mighty hand of protection would rest among them. We pray that in these troubled times, they would rely upon God alone – for upon our own strength, we cannot rely. Let us walk in the presence of God.
