The country the prophetic message concerning a meeting ending in tears took place in was the nation of India.

During a Sunday live service at The SCOAN, Prophet TB Joshua gave a prophetic message concerning a particular meeting that would take place in India. He said: “Open your lips. Remember to pray for this India. I am seeing a meeting but I don’t know what happened in the meeting. But coming out from the meeting, it’s not smiles but tears. Pray.”

In direct confirmation of the prophetic message, on Wednesday 14th April 2010, in the precise country the Prophet had asked us to pray for – India, news hit international headlines that an Indian politician was assassinated in a public meeting in broad daylight. Police reported that unknown attackers shot the local politician on the podium in a public meeting in northern India Wednesday 14th April 2010.

Hanuman Sharan Shukla - A Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader was shot dead by an unidentified assailant in Uttar Pradesh's Gonda district while he was in a public meeting. "Shukla was shot dead at point blank range. He died on the spot," police inspector Bharat Yadav told reporters in Gonda, some 200 km from Lucknow. Yadav said the assailants probably were present at the podium, and police have launched a manhunt for the attackers. Shukla belonged to the party of the State Chief Minister, Mayawati, a low-caste woman leader, Yadav said.

India, Wednesday marked the 119th birth anniversary of the father of its constitution, B.R. Ambedkar. Yadav said the attack occurred when Shukla and his party colleagues were commemorating Ambedkar, hailed as messiah of India's vast low-caste communities called the Dalit or the suppressed. Television footage showed Shukla collapsing on the makeshift stage after the gunshots had been fired. "Though the exact reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained, Police suspect old resentments could be the cause of the fatal attack.

True to the prophecy, the meeting (that was held in honour of a highly respected individual of India’s low caste communities), did indeed end, not in smiles but in tears just as Prophet TB Joshua had prophesied.
