During a Sunday live service at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations, Prophet T.B. Joshua gave a prophecy concerning something that was missing and mentioned a plane. His words:
“In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen. I’m seeing something and they are looking for this thing. It’s missing. What is this thing that is missing? Is it a machine? Is it a plane? What is this that is missing and they are looking for? I will bring the issue back to you but I will keep praying. It is something – when it goes missing, people will begin to say, “Ah! What is happening? What of the people there? What happened? We pray and I will continue to pray. If there is any close answer before next Sunday, I will talk to you on Emmanuel TV. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
In a subsequent Sunday service at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations, Prophet T.B. Joshua called upon the congregation and viewers to pray and cover every balloon with the blood of Jesus. His words: “In Jesus’ name. Amen. I want you to purge all the balloons with the blood of Jesus. Fast and pray so that the Lord will continue to protect everyone all over the world. In Jesus’ name. Even those who do not accept Him, I know as we are talking now, they are ready to accept Jesus and Jesus will cover them with the blood of Jesus. Amen. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus’ name.”
On Sunday 20th June 2010, news hit the screens worldwide that a chartered plane carrying eleven people including top executives of the Australian mining company Sundance went missing in the Republic of Congo. Among those on board was an Australian billionaire and Sundance Director, Ken Talbot.
International Iron Ore Company, Sundance Resources said the flight from Yaounde in Cameroon to Yangadou in the Republic of Congo failed to arrive on Saturday and had been reported missing. The light aircraft disappeared about half way into its hour-long flight between Cameroon's capital Yaounde and the town of Yangadou in neighbouring Congo. A search mission was immediately constituted to trace the whereabouts of the missing plane.
The search was under way between the takeoff point and the intended destination. Military forces in Congo and Cameroon were helped in the search which was coordinated by Cameroonian, Gabonese and Republic of Congo authorities with support from Australian, Canadian and the U.S. foreign officials.
The Australian Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd told reporters in Canberra that the government would leave "no stone unturned in our efforts to try and help what is a concerning set of developments for these Australians." Just as the Prophet had seen in the vision, something was missing – a plane - and they were indeed looking for it.
As the Prophet had said, many were left asking questions, “What is happening? What of the people onboard the plane? What happened?” As news of the missing plane flooded the headlines, international concern was raised for the whereabouts of those on board. Among them were the mining Tycoon, Ken Talbot, the Director of Sundance and one of Australia's richest men. Sundance Resources Ltd based in Perth, Australia halted trading as its chairman, managing director and CEO, company secretary and three directors were all among those missing. Also on board were two British nationals, two French nationals and one U.S. citizen. Chief financial officer of Sundance, Peter Canterbury was named acting chief executive. "This is a deeply distressing time for the families of the missing, their friends and work colleagues," Canterbury said.
The executives were flying on a plane chartered by Sundance Resources between the Cameroonian capital Yaounde and a remote area in the Congo called Yangadou. They were visiting Sundance Resources’ Mbalam iron-ore project in Cameroon and Congo and conducting meetings with various government representatives of both countries.
After frantic searching through the Congolese jungle, they found the wreckage of the missing plane on Monday 21st June 2010 in dense jungle inside the Republic of Congo. No survivors were found.
